Note the following: The table indicates typ-values to be interpreted as reference values. These may deviate from the actual values the product shows when it is in a finished application. Click to read the full text.

Actual values depend on:
1, the min and max range of the value, which can be read using the bin code of the diodes included in the manufacturing batch of the LED module
2, the working temperature range of the final product
3, the operating current.
Care should be taken to verify behavior throughout the work area. If specific bins are desired, this must be communicated with Lightronic before ordering. Availability of desired bin code varies. Contact us for technical information on how bin codes are interpreted. Lightronic is not responsible for actual values deviating from typvalues.

Label for energy efficiency

Obligations for e-commerce

As a seller of light sources, since September 1, 2021, we are obliged to report the energy class of the light source. The class is shown in a gradation from A to G, where A corresponds to the best efficiency. Through the Energy Labeling, it should make it easier for the user to choose light sources based on their energy efficiency. The energy class is shown at this location through the product's energy label. The energy class and efficiency are also reported in the light source's data sheet, which can be downloaded higher up on this product page.

Energy efficiency classes and calculation method

The energy efficiency class for light sources shall be determined according to Table 1, based on light output based on the power from the mains ηTM, which is calculated by dividing the declared usable luminous flux Φuse (expressed in lm) by declared power consumption in position Pon (expressed in W) and multiplying by applicable FTM in Table 2, i.e. ηTM = (/use / Pon) x FTM (lm / W).

Energy efficiency class Light exchange based on the power from the mains ηTM (lm / W)
A 210 ≤ ηtm
B 185 ≤ ηtm <210
C 160 ≤ ηtm <185
D 135 ≤ ηtm <160
E 110 ≤ ηtm <135
F 85 ≤ ηtm <110
G ηtm <85

Table 1 - Energy efficiency classes for light sources

Typ of light source FTM factor
Radiant (NDLS), connected to the mains (MLS) 1,000
Radiant (NDLS), not connected to the mains (NMLS) 0,926
Directed (DLS), connected to the mains (MLS) 1,176
Directed (DLS), not connected to the mains (NMLS) 1,089
